WELCOME

I am delighted to welcome you to the Convent of Jesus and Mary Language College. Founded by the Religious of Jesus and Mary in 1888, the school was established to provide an exciting and vibrant education - an education that would equip young women with the skills to enable them to realise their true potential. That tradition is still continued today.

As an OUTSTANDING Catholic school our Gospel values are lived out in our daily lives. We have established an effective Christ centred community and we remain true to our mission ‘With God’s Grace we excel and lead’.
Through a combination of high expectations of behaviour, inspirational learning experiences and a safe and inclusive ethos, our girls are prepared for the world of work in a globalised community. Learning is at the heart of everything we do. We respect and acknowledge each student’s worth and start to identify, develop and nurture her individual talents and skills from her very first day with us. Our ongoing success is only made possible through the support and close partnership with parents.
