WELCOME to the convent of Jesus and Mary Language College website. I am immensely proud to be the headteacher of this vibrant and outstanding school. We have been serving the catholic community in this part of London for almost 125 years. We are rich in tradition, culture, and old fashioned standards.

As an outstanding catholic school the gospel values are lived out in our daily lives.
Each individual is recognised as being made in the image and likeness of Christ and as such is expected to aspire to excellence in order to fulfil their potential. In this way we remain true to our mission ‘with God’s grace we excel and lead’.
Through a combination of high expectations of behaviour, an inclusive ethos, and inspirational learning experiences our girls are prepared to take proactive roles in a globalised community. We equip our young women with the skills to enable them to fulfil their true potential.

Our on going success is only made possible through the support and close partnership with parents. At the Convent of Jesus and Mary Language College girls are given every opportunity to succeed. We expect all our community to support our values and ethos, actively working in partnership to ensure excellence.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AWARD

Following the submission of a Self Evaluation Form to the British Council in July the Convent of Jesus and Mary has recently been re-accredited with the International School Award. Our school has been awarded for its on-going effort in bringing the wider world into the classroom though its range of projects, including several themed days, joint work with international partners and curriculum-based work centred around global themes.
