PE Department

Welcome to the PE Department

We aim for all girls to engage in valuable and fun activities both in lessons and outside so that they are equipped for a long and healthy lifestyle. For those that wish to pursue sports and activities beyond lesson times we have range of activities, trips and clubs. All standards are welcome. Activities are run by qualified Teachers and instructors and Leaders are encouraged to help where appropriate.

KS3 lessons are based onsite but KS4 spend some sessions at Willesden sports Centre and to supplement their lessons KS5 can choose activities such as Ice-skating, Ten-Pin bowling, swimming, Willesden SC gym.

High standards of PE kit are expected, details of which are found on page 14 of Student Planners.

Each Year we look to build on the achievements of the previous year- in order to do so we need your help and participation. Get involved and be part of something special!!

World Cup Football- internal competition KS3 competing Yr10 and 12 organising
CJM ‘Wimbledon’
National Sports Week- CJM girls participated as part of a national scheme

Several girls won a place in the Brent Football, Basketball, and Athletics Squads.

In addition to the opportunities for the girls staff were also given opportunity to take up fitness club with a personal trainer through our links with Athletics coaching and Mr Crichlow.
