PASTORAL CARE

Girls develop and achieve intellectually, spiritually, morally and socially when they are happy. We recognise that everyone within our school community has the right to study, learn and teach in an atmosphere of order and calm. We provide an oasis of peace and security where our girls feel safe and ourwell established programme of pastoral care underpins the firm foundations of our caring community. Form Tutors take day-to-day responsibility for the welfare, happiness, success and good behaviour of the students in their care. Year Heads meet regularly with Form Tutors and the Senior Tutors to plan and manage all aspects of our students’ wellbeing. Confidential counselling is available within the school for all students and this is supported, where necessary, by professional support from outside agencies.
